Funny how they include athletics when they need something.
Yep.

If you notice, after Watts gained power athletics were removed from the videos they showed during athletic events when we are on TV. This coincided with the removal of blaze from the license plates. Not long after that football was snuffed out. Thankfully certain people leaked info so we could fight this thing head on. No Watts and the evil three have not changed their spots.

As for the video it is really nice. I do wish they would fix the one they show during athletic events.
Campaign For UAB surpassed $657 million however a good $31 million plus of that was by including athletic funds.

$9 million added in December to get to this total however I'm not sure if part of that is athletics related. I have a big suspicion that it is.

Still nowhere near being on course to meet their goal.
I liked the video.
No images of the protests? Very disappointed
It's by far the best student recruitment video we've ever put out there.
That's a really nice video.
It's a great video
That was put together by the admissions office, yet another constituency whose job Punkin Head has made more difficult.
& over the admissions is a bammer.

On the finish the drive campaign update on the 15th, it said only $17.2m had been pledged. I thought I remembered it was higher. Where are they getting their number?
Awesome Video

Not sure what makes up the $31 million but that amount may have even been listed on the website as going towards the athletic needs.

It has been hard to keep up with exactly how much now was part of the athletics, however I do strongly believe that those on the campaign are using the athletic totals to prop up the overall total to try and stimulate new donations.
Looks nothing like the school I graduated from in 2004 or when I finished my last degree in 2011.

I'm surprised they have done anything with the education and chemistry buildings. Those look like the most out of place buildings on campus now.
All 3 of those buildings there are quite old compared to the others.

The Chem building, the one in the middle (which I guess is education) & the one on the other side (the Humanities building)
^Humanities is either next on the chopping block or very close to being next after the chem annex goes down for HHB II (across from Blount).
I've seen plans for a completely new School of Education building and it looks amazing. I believe it even incorporates a possible charter school and/or employee child development center with it. The current education building is a nightmare. I had to take either my SAT or ACT there back in high school and it left a poor first impression of UAB on the other test takers.
