The MAC teams UT will be playing have been announced.

Home games: Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Ohio

Road games: Akron, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan

Here's a link to the story on the UT site.

Looks like the Rockets will play the MAC East's 3 best teams: Akron, BGSU, and Ohio.
Here's a link to a story listing Bowling Green's conference opponents -

As of about noon Monday none of the other conference schools seem to have this story posted yet. And I didn't find an entire list on the MAC website.

Agree. Not sure how tough bugs will be. Nice to get Ohio here. It is always a well attended game.
I'm going to all four of those away games. That is unless we get shafted with all Tuesday s

"Unless" we get shafted? Count on it...unless the bottom falls out early next season, those games against Northern & Western will still be very relevant to the MAC West title, and that means TV, and that means weeknight...

I strongly suspect that UT, NIU and WMU will be the pre-season favorites for the top 3 spots in the MAC West next year (in some order) and therefore the MAC will probably try to schedule these games late in the season as part of the November MACtion TV programming. If so, then that is "good news" because it will mean 2 fewer November games in the Glass Bowl and therefore 2 more home games in Sept/Oct all of which favors attendance. Ordinarily I would prefer to play NIU and WMU at home however, after last November I don't see that the Glass Bowl carried the same home field advantage that is use to back in the day. Besides we lucked out with the unusually warm November weather last fall and that was very atypical and can not be expected most years.
I'll be mad if our 2017 trip to Ohio U, our first since I believe 2009 and potentially my first ever, gets buried on a weekday night. Nice to go back to InfoCeption Stadium and make things right with Akron this year.

It will be nice to have the home crowd advantage in those games.
I think UT vs Ohio has a good possibility of being a MACtion game
