Lavone Holland II, who scored 15 points before halftime for NKU, scored only three in the final 20 minutes; Drew McDonald had 14 in the first half and four in the second half.
That is impressive. Sounds like the team responded to whatever the coach had to say.
I have no idea how good the opponent is supposed to be, but from what I read it sounds like some important things happened in this game that reveal the potential that the team has.
I don't imagine things will go so easily in conference play, but they will get some important experience and hopefully some wins along the way.
