He graduated from Utah in 2 1/2 years. (Geez)He will be immediately eligible with 2 years. Looks like we will have a QB battle come spring. Didn't light Utah on fire, but maybe he is another California QB in the rough like Arbuckle.
Ummm

Not much playing time, but something to work with. Good get.

Apparently Utah has like 42 3 star QBs. Graduated in 2.5 years? Wow!

Thats a good sign.
At least you know he is smart, at least you can assume he is.
Can't have to many QB's but this guy could not find the field in three years? Not Farvebuckle material out of the gate anyway.
Broke Matt Barkley,s records in high school. What a year for Georgia State.

Unfortunately, that sort of thing is no guarantee of college performance.

There are kids who break huge High School records all the time who never are effective at the college level. There's one at Arkansas that just broke the state rushing record, and doesn't even have a single D1 offer.
Who knows how this guy is going to be, but GaSt has done the best it can to ensure they're able to build off what was achieved during the last month of the 2015 season. That alone deserves big props. Congrats, guys.
GaSt has scary good receivers too. Get a soild QB and they'll be a threat to any team without a good Pass D.
Next stop..RB

Look at Utah's roster. Loaded with 3 star QBs

Considering the quality of receivers y'all have, I have no doubt that you can attract HS quarterbacks very soon but running backs might prove the most difficult position for State to recruit for. There are a lot of options in this state for HS backs to chose from and get lots of carries. That being said, maybe some kids will see that as an opportunity.

A bunch commit to MAC schools yearly. Gwinnett is closer to Downtown Atlanta than anywhere Ohio.

One thing is, you know Georgia State staff has had success with that position. So if the guy is capable of getting up to speed they probably won't drop the ball.
Fifth string QB after 3 years?
Looks to me like a good get. As to playing time while there... umm, Mr. Brady could enlighten us on the subject of playing time early in one's college career. The world is full of very good starters that couldn't get on the field their first couple of years.

Just so he's battered and bruised when the Eagles leave town next fall! 02-13-banana

Just needed this one more to provide competition. Let the best man win.
