Central Catholic senior linebacker Ron George (6-2, 200) also made a commitment Friday, deciding to play at Toledo. Also a receiver for the PIAA Class AAAA champion Vikings (15-1), he caught 10 passes for 168 yards and two scores. He also had offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio), Old Dominion, Temple, Virginia and Western Michigan.
I would expect that Campbell will offer him sometime today since that seems to be his method...offer anyone who commits to Toledo.

They can go to UT and win or they can play in the middle of cornfields and get beat badly by the rest of the Big Twelve!

Easier to drive to a UT game from Pittsburgh than to go to Ames if you're family or friends.

And, I wonder how many wins over SEC teams Iowa State has in the past few seasons? At least we have 1, and a couple "couldas" at both Florida & Mizzou...

Not many, going to be another long season at ISU. You may see some of his coaches leave after 1 season in no man's land.
I remember a couple of former CMU coaches that targeted our recruits when they got their new gigs. Maybe Campbell can do us a favor and lay off our recruits and go after other MAC teams.

If he had any loyalty at all. And it's obvious he doesn't. He would have done that first.

Forgot that Dantonio was at Cinci as well. He was the worst offender as far as taking our recruits - even though he was never at CMU. Everyone that went to Cinci from CMU after that followed suit.
Ron George, our newest Pittsburgh CC recruit, looks to be lobbying more 412 players to join Toledo. Aaron Mathews from Clairton, PA (pretty much Pittsburgh) is down to Pitt, WVU and Toledo.

His highlight reel is pretty impressive. You can see it at his Twitter account. Hurdles players on 3 different occasions in first 2 minutes of highlights
