What caught their attention was how we coach against out strengths. Watching film from the regular season games, they can't understand why we would begin to go strictly to passing the ball when our running backs are averaging 14 ypc in thr first half and gashing defenses while our receivers are having a tea party at mid field. "This guy is insane" was heard over and over during Temple's film session.

And then they saw our avg score and ypg and said "Well, maybe insane in a good way". We'll see which Candle shows up.

and then they saw our average score differential against remotely decent teams and got over-confident. We got this in the bag.
I figure Candle will do alright if somewhere between Toledo and there, he lost his formula sheet and doesn't hit the buffet too hard and fall asleep. It's all the other new coaches getting their squads ready to go on the field when called got my concern. If they all have their system down and keep procedurals to nil, we'll be alright, talent against talent at worst.
