Just for fun. We need DTs and quality safeties, so really hoping to add Bain and Chambers in Feb. We'll see if it translates to the field but weve never seen this many 3* athletes on a UAB defense. We will have to grow some of these guys into DTs (Marino, Thagard, Jones). Has the look of an immediately competitive defense, with 3 more signing classes before we play.

I'm not gong to borrow trouble and think negatively. I know its easy with all we have been through. Clark and company has spent countless hours evaluating these guys and they are not going to sign guys they don't think will make it in the time frame allotted. This will be the two classes with the least amount of attrition we have ever had IMHO. Call me crazy but you have to remember while other coaches have been coaching, ours have been recruiting. That is a HUGE advantage.
Remember what they did just in a day or so being iced in.

Yes, that first JUCO class, with only a few days to scout left over talent, was a very convincing demonstration of talent recognition.

Not as far along on offense as we are on defense. Some very good one-deep talent at RB and offensive line, but will need to sign a lot of depth. James Davis and Andrew Marshall are highly rated OL commits. Also two very good freshmen QBs and another CA Juco QB committed.
Running back and wide receiver are the biggest roster gaps at this stage, but there is plenty of time to add those in the next 3 signing periods.
February should be fun. I anticipate more transfers in January.
I wonder if Nick Jackson is still around? Practice observers & coaches were saying he was an absolute beast at RB.....some were saying he was as good as Howard.
I've been wondering when and if we could get a true UaB football roster as it stands right now.
