On the radio show tonight, Coach K talked about future schedules. Next season, they are playing in a tournament in Nashville. He mentioned that Middle Tennessee is in the tournament, but they will also play a game at Middle Tennessee, so they could potentially play them twice (similar to Loyola this season). They are a good program that usually has a strong RPI. Middle Tennessee will play at Savage the following season.

They also are starting a home and home with St. Joseph's, a very good Atlantic 10 program. They will play at St. Joe's next season with a return game at Savage the following season (2017-2018 season).

During the 2017-2018 season, they are playing in a tournament that will include games at Syracuse and at Kansas as well as two home games.

Finally, Coach K said that he tried to get a game at Michigan State, not a home and home, just a single game in East Lansing. Michigan State said no. It is incredible that Michigan State won't even play us in one game in their building.

We are, also, unable to schedule the P1G in football. Guess they are scared of the Rockets.
Izzo will never put the Rockets on his schedule after they beat him that one year.

Hmm, we beat them up in East Lansing in 2002 when they were ranked 14th. We then played them again in 2009 in East Lansing when they were ranked 2nd and we lost by 13. MSU leads the all-time series 5-3 over the Rockets. Seems like good competition to me, why would a coach like Izzo shy away from good competition?
Good opportunities for the team. Don't fret about the teams that aren't interested and build relationships with programs around us

Good moves, bring in solid interesting teams. Toledo fans will come watch games against good mid majors.

Assuming things don't change and the Rockets play in the Carrier Dome in 2017-18, obviously it's too soon for me to know if I'll be able to get to Syracuse to watch that one. But it's not too soon for me to say that I hope the contract stipulates that MAC officials call the game. 05-stirthepot

We'll lose when a game-winning last second three by Sanford is waived off after a review shows the ball was in the cylinder when the light flashed on, thus negating the score.

No!!!! no MAC refs...... Will want some from a league as far away as possible. Say, how about from the Donkey basketball league in Mexico??

Toledo will lose after Syracuse attempts a game-winning three, which will be an airball and miss the rim, but then be counted by the refs after review. It was close enough to count.

P1G 03-rotfl
St Joes is a great home and home to get. Excited about that and the Nashville Tourney. It is probably the one over Thanksgiving that WMU was in this year.
