I really liked what Coach Candle had to say. Also, MOB stated that they consulted with a Recruiting firm, but that Candle was the obvious choice. MC was promoted to HC after bring Beckman's OC, that seemed to work out ok. This was a great hire for UT.

ok is about the best way to describe Campbell at UT. Not great, but ok. Would be different if we had taken the title this year - and we should have.

Just wish we had the luck of BG. Compete in arguably the worst division in college football making getting to the championship game a breeze, then getting the defending champion who has to start a true freshman walk-on QB. Granted, they beat Western and we didn't, but we throttled them fairly easily on their field. We just out-muscled them despite their better skill position players (overall). We beat them 6 in a row - and they have 2 championships to our 0.....

The Falcons are 1-4 in their past 5 Bowl appearances.

Isn't Umass leaving the MAC? If they do, I thought think Toledo should be moved to the East to balance the divisions.

lol, let's calm down a bit. First, it's Twitter, so all he did was retweet a few tweets. Also, he mentioned the radio show because he was one of the two guests. He gave the UT perspective after Campbell was hired. That is pretty common for media to do. Since the Candle hire, he's been a pretty good source of info on UT related things.

Yeah, I tend to be a fiercely loyal Rocket fan, even through the frustrations. As an individual I guess he can be fan of whomever he wants and say whatever he wants. It just seems like a UT student, who is formally involved with UT sports reporting and the UT radio station, which is a privilege, should not be saying that Iowa State University athletics are more newsworthy than Toledo athletics. There are many facets of athletics at the University of Toledo that are newsworthy to people in Toledo.
