for the season now- 6 games.... with some more good stuff
2 pt defense- 44.7%. #90 in the country (last year 52.7% #325 in the country)
O Reb defense- 27.9% #96 in the country (last year 35.5% #332 in the country)
total adjusted defense- 101.5, #148 in the country (last year 105.4 #228 in the country)

also-
2 pt offense- 52.1%, #82 in the country (last year 49.2 #99 in the country).
TO's on offense- 18.0% #153 in the country (last year 19.8%, #223 in the country).
FTR on offense(getting to the line)- 52.5%- #13 in the country (last year- 36.5% #180 in the country).

speaking as a coach, I'm loving all of those numbers. kind of stuff that really wins games.

4 factors-
Effective FG%
49.2 167 off, 48.2 141 def this year.
50.7% 92 off, 50.8 246 def last year

Turnover %
18.0% 153 off, 18.9% 146 def this year.
19.8 223 off, 18.8 191 def last year

Off reb %
24.9 295 off, 27.9 96 def this year
27.4 292 off, 35.5 332 def last year

FTA/FGA
52.5% 13 off, 45.8 282 def this year
36.5% 180 off, 48.7 334 def last year
so offense- taking care of the ball better, and getting to the line a lot more....
defense- better in all 4 facets this year compared to last year....

another interesting one-
avg poss length.
last year 18.4 seconds on offense #180 longest, 17.2 on defense. #25 shortest
this year 16.2 seconds on offense #90 longest, 17.3 on defense, #232 shortest

so they are playing much quicker on offense, but teams actually spending longer on defense than last year(even with the longer shot clock).
