I played for Les Keonning Sr - he's a Texas High School legend. Great man.

Jr is a hell of a coach, check out the resume:

Cook was promoted to be an assistant to his old position.


With Southern Miss going to a bowl game it may be January before any change/comeback is announced.

Zac was hired away from the NFL to return to status quo UAB. I'm sure he can be hired away from Southern Miss to return to this revamped UAB that is allowed to build football facilities.

It's possible the coach that he works for now may not be there in a few weeks.

I'd imagine he'd be QB coach along w/ someone who is actually titled QB coach as his asst but that person is just starting out as such after being a grad asst type somewhere
