We have much to be thankful for. A great football season, about to get better. Nathan Boothe. Thai and Irish golfers. The ancient, but unique Glass Bowl and other great facilities. Matt Campbell, Todd Kowal...., Todd Kowelcsk... Uh, Coach K and Tricia Cullop. Jim O'Brian. Coach Hollingsworth. The Fedderman Indoor. All the Academic All-MACs we crank out like factory widgets. Stuffing. Road trips. And all the things (and people) I missed and all of you that make this board feel like home- you know, people screaming at each other, complaining about everything and trying to start fights.

In reference to the board, we have to give thanks to be in the position we are right now as Rocket fans. A chance to get to the MACC, win a conference championship and a big maybe for getting to a NY day bowl. Maybe we lose tomorrow and it is all over, but at least we can be thankful to have the chance. Didn't look good just 3 days ago.

and thanks for all the faithful Rocket fans that are not unlike other fans. We moan and complain and still keep on cheering for the team. If we didn't care, we wouldn't have enough emotion to complain. I am now swung way over to being grateful to the coaching staff. After watching a lot of games in the last week, you can see how fickle it can be to lead a bunch of 18-22 year olds for 3 months worth of games. We simply have to be thankful to be 9-1 right now. I don't think anyone would have expected that at the start of the season - or that the loss would be to NIU in our house.
