I felt a separate thread was needed as a tribute to Cheatham's stellar performance against BGSUcks.

Two Interceptions
One Pass Broken Up
One Tackle

It seemed like he was EVERYWHERE last night. He drew very tough assignments and made a ton of big plays.

Well done Cheatham!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed. And, he's done so much after not only missing last season but having to come back from that serious illness. I wasn't a fan of that "Toledo Tough" slogan but if anyone is an example of it--he is!
Yes agreed. He has had a special year. Especially with how terrible the secondary was last year. Instead of a glaring weakness, our secondary is a bright spot.....except for 3 plays in the niu game, ha!
The blatant offensive pass interference that was not called and kept a NIU drive alive was criminal!
Cheatham is tied for 16th nationally in passes defended, and tied for 44th in interceptions.
he is a tremendous athlete and one of the best cover corners we have had at UT

Norrill's was very impressive on defense.

Kareen Hunt once again burned us on offense and was just as impressive.

Kudos also to both your offensive and defensive linemen. The big guys up front were very effective as well.
He should get the MAC defensive player of the week award.
I would think he gets serious consideration on several NFL teams next year
I would love to see him join the basketball team after the season. Former first team all state. Bet he could be a useful addition.

Safety? Corners tend to be the best speed burners in the NFL. Probably also be a good slot receiver.

A shut down point guard.
I think after Cheatham graduates, he goes to work as a partner in a law firm with Dewey and Howe

03-lmfao Love the Stooges! And I'm so happy we beat them Tuesday night!
Dang! that was a recruiting opportunity missed. Heck of a secondary they would have made.
