WMU has yet to play at home vs Ball St and BG then on the road at NIU and Toledo (4-0)

Toledo has yet to play at CMU and BG and home vs WMU (4-1, loss to NIU)

NIU has yet to play at Buffalo and home vs WMU and Ohio (4-1, loss to CMU)

CMU has yet to play home vs Toledo, on the road vs Kent and Home vs EMU (4-1, loss to WMU)

Take care of our 3 games coupled with any NIU loss and we're in the MACC. Right now, WMU controls their own destiny on top of the MAC West.

BG will likely already win at least a share of the East by the time we play them.

This season can still be a championship season, just win baby!

Don't you just hate having to worry about what other teams do every November?

Unfortunately, right now it's all we got.
Andy Boyd said after the game that he hopes this loss doesn't get in the players' heads and lead to an 0-4 finish.

Before the game, I thought NIU and CMU would be the easiest games with BG being the toughest. We'll see.

Looks as if CMU and NIU have the easiest path to the MACC game whereas WMU and UT have the toughest path. Of course only WMU controls its own destiny.
UT beats CMU, CMU is done.
WMU steamrolled Ball St. Moving to 5-0 in the conference. PJU is legit this year... We're focused on the process and they're over there just rowing their boat.
I remember when Toledo didn't lose in November for 4 or 5 years in a row......

Really?
2002
2000
1999
1995
1986
1981
1971
1970
1969
1967

A number of seasons there were only 2 or 3 November games.

We don't yet. We win out and we win the West. And then I remembered NIU has to lose again.....
WMU drops to BG and BG punches their ticket to Detroit. NIU's defense held off a late surge to top Buffalo. Just keep taking care of business and Go Broncos!
Row the f'in boat to DeKalb.
WMU's D played as well as it needed to to win. You can't give them turnovers and TOP and come out victorious. If UT holds them to 41, I expect to win. Rain and wind could help us out (like it could have helped WMU). Terrel staired down his receivers all night. Corey Davis is a stud and they are extremely lucky to have a talent like that. Ely can play better than Terrel.

BG does have a run game though. Green makes good cuts and is fast as crap on the outside. They lack the depth and pound game that we have, but even if both teams couldn't throw, we won't walk out of BG without a fight.
Seeing a DB not in position to make a play on the FB drives me crazy.
WMU made a nice read on the Johnson INT. Rockets better do something about defensing the seam routes.

Nobody else has although WMU very nearly had another INT near the end zone in the first half. Johnson did a great job of looking off defenders. And those receivers are glue. Johnson missed some throws but when he threw a catchable ball the ball was caught. We better figure out a way to get our guys to do that.
