I think this will be a really down year for the MAC. BG and Buffalo were left in disarray over coaching changes, BSU and NIU seem to be in perpetual rebuild mode. We lost a LOT of talent as did Eastern. CMU a would appear to be the prohibitive favorite in the West and maybe overall and only Akron and Kent seem poised to be obstacles to the Chips. Hope we gel fast- there's some talent there for sure.

If you go based on just the eye test you'd think cmu will absolutely roll.
On the other hand, they've got some pretty lofty expectations, and we all know how that can turn out.
