Heard this on way to work. Wonder if Dino Babers would be a front runner?
Very sad to have to stop doing what you love. Hope his health improves and he can find a way to stay engaged with the game.
Doesn't sound good. Good Coach. Blessings to Coach Kill and his family.
Sad interview.
Coach Kill has been dealt a tough hand to play. Hopefully he can come to terms with it and find some peace and contentment in the process. Good luck to him and his family in dealing with an unfortunate situation.

Class act. Hope his team takes his character to heart and finishes strong.

Yeah, I think that was an expected move to keep any hope of their program moving in the direction it's headed. Claeys has made some poor decisions in the two games this year, especially in time management during the Michigan game. Look for them to be hunting again in two to three years.

Yep. A lot of writers were pointing out the length of his contract. If he doesn't work out, it doesn't sink the program. If he works out, the school can rewrite the deal.
Jerry Kill has been hired as an associate athletic director at Kansas State. Good for him. And for K-State.

This is more than a month old but I just saw it. Don't remember seeing it posted here.

And now it looks like Coach Kill is back on the field. As offensive coordinator for Rutgers. Hope he's healthy. Best of luck to him.

Brian Wright was rumored to be in the running for Rutgers OC when the hired Kill. Let's hope he isn't this time.

It would be a step down. He'd be at the top of the list if Coach Candle moved on.
Right now all eyes on Appalachian State.

Not salary-wise. Kill reportedly made over $600K last year.

and we just had a report UT is willing to put out over a million. OC at Rutgers vs HC at UT, seems like a stop-down to me.
I guess I found it more amazing that Kill is only 55. He's been through a lot - and accomplished a lot. It's wise to not be present at your own early grave memorial.
