I agree that the board tended to over react to the troll as he became a central focus for the week with multi page threads and even threads started by UT fans about him. He certainly became the center of attention by stirring up things which I suspect was his intent all along and many regulars on the board could not resist "feeding the troll". However, as has also been pointed out, this is a fan board and as such is not a totally serious matter of life and death, so who cares, I suppose------besides, I imagine anything that encourages increased posting activity and traffic on a forum can in some sense be considered a "good thing".
Anyway as he appears to be a UMass supporter thru his Twitter posts, presumably he won't be posting too much further regarding Toledo as UMass's days in the MAC are numbered.

People eat up the gambling stuff. Cowherd worked for while in Vegas and, as much as I can't stand him, focused a lot on football gambling before it became as commonplace as it now. That doesn't mean he's going to be correct or even close to correct with his picks.
