Rockets first team out of the top 25 a few votes ahead of Oregon. Cal Michigan miss St and w Virginia now ranked. Good place to be going into ball St. Seems like Mac teams always struggle right after breaking into the polls and ball often gives us trouble. Time to win another one. Lots of teams ahead and around us playing each other this week.
Meanwhile, rockets getting most votes of any g5 team, followed by Boise, Temple Houston and Memphis. Boise doesn't play anyone tough the rest of the yr. AAC pretty deep, those 3 could knock each other off, but if one goes undefeated that would be impressive. Likewise, Mac looking solid too.
Temple and Memphis both still play a top 5 team....which should help us

Coaches poll has us third or fourth of the G5 teams. Not getting alot of love. But with Arkansas tanking, its probably more accurate than the AP poll. Lots of FB yet to be played. I'm not sure even if we go undefeated, we get ranked higher than Boise. Hopefully we'll get to see that play out.
Boise has been known to stumble down the stretch in the past, but I agree a 1 loss Boise gets in above us.
I personally don't care about the rankings. This week's game is the most important game of the schedule. Don't really care about any other crap that is a distraction.

Absolutely agree, but the decision won't be made on best team, but on name. Was really hoping Virginia would help us out. All we can do is keep winning.
Well now it's supposed to be on merit. Boise has beat 1 solid p5 team and 1 weak one. They lost to be good g5 team and will play weaker of overall schedule than ut or the aac champ. I don't see them getting in over unbeaten teams this yr. We still voting keep winning
Since i was bored i looked up to see who voted us where. In the AP poll, there are 61 voters. I may have missed one but it looks like 25 voters have us in their poll. That is up from being on 10 ballets last week so we really did make a big movement
