It has happened at least for the last 10 years. :-) Although this seems to be the best participation I've seen in that time.

That's a completely inaccurate statement...there can be plenty of factors stopping individuals from attending their first preferred university.

I wouldn't term it "completely" inaccurate: if it were such, then the opposite would be true, i.e. "Everything would stop individuals from attending his/her university of choice." The truth exists somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. But, I get both points. I agree with kd's sentiment, though.

The point was trying to make is if a person is the biggest fan of a certain university and is college bound one would think that individual would apply to that university where they can participate in all the activities that are offered including wearing school colors, t-shirts, jerseys, and so on.(08-28-2015 12:40 PM)USAFBlazerFan Wrote: [ -> ](08-26-2015 04:26 PM)demiveeman Wrote: [ -> ](08-26-2015 03:43 PM)kdblazer Wrote: [ -> ]...since there's nothing stopping individuals from attending their university of choice.

I didn't say it was completely opposite, I said it was completely inaccurate. It is 100% inaccurate. His statement said "There is NOTHING stopping..." That was an absolute statement that was incorrect, and therefor it was completely inaccurate. Because he said that there is "NOTHING" stopping somebody, and there are in fact things that do stop some people...his "statement" is 0% accurate or 0% true.
