Please join our new University of Toledo President, Dr. Sharon Gaber, and your UT Alumni Association at a FREE pre-game event on Saturday, September 12 in Little Rock when our Rockets take on the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.

All Rockets’ fans are welcome to join us in our tent at Rick’s Armory (4700 West 8th Street), which is located within visual sight and walking distance of War Memorial Stadium. The pre-game event will run from 12-2 p.m., CDT. Game time is set for 3 p.m.

Your complimentary served menu will consist of:

St. Louis style BBQ ribs
BBQ pulled pork
Smoked chicken
Beef brisket
Baked beans
Cole slaw
Potato salad
Apple, blackberry and peach cobbler
Water
Sweet and unsweetened tea

A cash bar with beer and wine will be available.
President Gaber, Vice President and Athletic Director Mike O’Brien, new Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Sam McCrimmon, and I will be on hand to greet you and share the exciting things happening at UT!

***Tickets for the UT vs. Arkansas game are available for a limited time at the UT Athletic Ticket Office. To order your tickets, please call 419.530.4653 (GOLD) or visit the ticket office. Tickets are $57 each.

Probably no bus trips for this one but otherwise it seems like they're pulling out all the stops for a special time. Good chow list. Packed game. Free concert. When's the last time if ever, UofToledo had an away experience like this!

I'm not sure eastisbest, but I am thoroughly excited. And that was when I thought it would just be the game.
