I don't know if the Board, Watts, or the ghost of Ann Reynolds was interfering, but honestly this makes more sense than another one in Bartow. Good job on Birmingham's part to keep this in town.

I think most folks moved past that issue & are glad to have an even bigger event at Legacy Arena. My problem has been that we have a fairly reputable news station (WBRC-Alan Collins) reporting the UA BOT blocked the use of Bartow Arena. But then he never gives a source. It'd be kind of nice to know where this came from... were we getting trolled, was it miscommunication, or what?

It came from two news outlets and was quickly hushed. One of two things happened but it really doesn't matter.
