I forgot t check
Barker tried his best to gump it up, but Clark didn't take the bait.
& Kurre had a wise crack last week when he said since Clark didn't have anything to do ....

That was tongue in cheek... Tony knows Clark is working his tail off.
That's usually where Tony has his tongue. in someone's cheek. The other cheek.
Considering the situation I wouldn't consider coming close to cracking jokes if I was Kurre.

FBHC Clark knows what to expect from Barker and Kurre and is quick and smart enough to handle them. This is not his first rodeo with that group.
I was a bit put off by the Barker asking Coach two Alabama questions and Del Greco asking him a Auburn question. Then again maybe the arrangement with Coach Clark is to have him on every Monday just to talk football in general. Thoughts?
I think it would be epic trolling on Coach Clark's part to not acknowledge one Bammer-related question this year.

Jay Barker: "Blah Blah Row Tide passing attack?"
Bill Clark: "Well Jay, speaking of passing offense, if you look at the Pac-12 South this year, Arizona State has a lot of weapons coming back on that side of the ball." 03-drunk
I thought Clark handled it well, generally, "Well, if it was me..."

He is there to talk football in general. Keeping uab in the press is a bonus

YES he is on as a football expert to give insider perspective of a head coach per promo. We are so sensitive to every thing we sometimes are worst than gumps or sidewalk aubies. He was also asked about the drunk coach

By the way after September or whenever the facilities fundraising is done and Clarks contract is signed - I hope he would have little to talk about a lot of weeks or is it just AU and UAT that you want him 'forbidden" to be asked about
Good stuff - this week was much more UAB oriented than last week. Very good questions and interesting answers by Coach.
That was a really good segment today. Good questions and great, in depth responses by Bill.
When the season gets going, they'll probably ask more questions regarding SEC and national teams' performances. The coolest part is getting a weekly update on the progress of the program.
Good breakdown on the # of signees he expects for the various upcoming periods.

Yeah, as I recall I think he said that we have around 33 guys, counting walkons ( which he said were 'preferred' walkons at this piont ) at present.
