With everything that has occurred over the past few months in the public eye, and now with it being evident that Watts pretty much violated standard practices of university governance. Will SACS come in and take a look at the BOT and how UAB is being governed?
One of the letters from the Faculty Senate to Watts asked Watts why he wouldn't release the finding of SACS to the Senate. Watts has said he will release the finding when the administration has had time to address the concerns of SACS, which was due when they have a return visit in December.
I doubt it with the checks Jr is giving them
I no longer have any faith in SACS whatsoever.
SACS has proven to be a disappointment. SACS is evidently without the teeth or the guts to call out the BOT. The BOT has their hooks into SACS through various channels, incestuous relationships, personal ties, etc.
