Is anyone going. I might consider it if I was promised I wouldn't see Wes Smith at the "party".
I'm planning on it

I'm not... I celebrated with everyone at the admin building and Iron City yesterday. I left work half a day yesterday to celebrate, not going to leave early again today. Thankful to the Alumni for their donation though!
I going because I didn't get to go to the Iron City party yesterday. I hate I missed it. I probably won't stay very long.

I guess you can always snag your Bar-B-Que and go, but I am afraid Wes will want to give a speech and I can't find my ear plugs. If he were to talk while I'm eating I would probably 03-puke
I drove past. Looks pretty festive.

Already, it's not supposed to start until 4:30.

Last night was the celebration at Iron City for those who actually did something to bring football back.

Wes actually did his best to throw obstacles in our paths, especially in the path of those on the Athletic Task Force who were actually trying to get something done. I guess yesterday he lost whatever chance he had of becoming a BOT Trustee.

I saw them setting up when I was down at Snoozy's buying some swag.
Good job of staying "above the fray". The NAS is hosting a party, not claiming victory alone. The NAS are the alumni, not one person. They were late in getting involved but played an important role at the end.

stop being a sore winner. Complete victory is not won yet, and everyone needs to stay united instead of patting yourself on the back and laying blame and holding grudges.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are always bad nights for me to do anything due to prior commitments. Have fun without me.
Did anyone hear Ingram's speech? I got there late and missed it.
I'm stuck in blount county. Wish I could be there
We went to a movie tonight so we didnt plan on attending. Tomorrowland is a pretty good flick.
I stopped by for a short time. I enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere with some happy folks.
I was standing right behind Ingram when he made his speech. It sounded positive with very few details. Same things we've been hearing . Also saw Allen Bolton there as well as Clay Ryan. I wonder why Ryan is still slithering around since the ATF is done. Wasn't he simply Watts' liason to the ATF?

Oh boy, I'll bet you loved celebrating with Clay Ryan, and I know Wes Smith was there celebrating as well. I can't imagine two other people I would rather celebrate the return of Blazer football with than those two.
