She is never going to leave Stanford. Would you leave a much higher paying job at a much more prestigious university, where you actually have the control of your position, in an infinitely better place to live?

How do you know what she believes is a better place to live? I agree she would never leave Stanford for UAB but I always find it curious as what others perceive as to what someone thinks about any given subject.

Unless there is a remarkable change in the UA System, the next President of UAB will be someone the BOT picks for us just as they did with Ray Watts. It is unlikely in that case, that anyone with a strong spine and independent spirit (like Drs Rice, Reynolds and Garrison) would be willing to be the "willow tree" to the BOT's "oak" persona. We will perhaps get a read on this if & when we have to see what conference offers UAB a home conference safe from the storm after exile from C-USA.

Based on how long the past 2 presidents lasted and the length of time its taking to get a new one, I suspect the same holds true for UAT...

I think the teams will be restored due to the fact that the reasoning for disbanding was based on false pretenses.
CarrSports Consulting may have closed up shop before they get sued to high hell and back.

Doesn't matter. Names on the report could still be sued if defamation or similar offense occurred. I'm not a lawyer, but they are still liable for their work. Is it court worthy? I do not know.

Where she belongs. She didn't say one place was infinitely better than the other. That is what you said.
I would think that a person with her wealth and available choices lives where she chooses.

That reasoning would be enough for most folks, but when it comes to reasoning with the UA BOT it may not be enough to get what we want done. Count only the chickens that hatch out and start clucking in early June..
