Crackhead. Like UNC-Charlotte, Dominion, USA, or Marshall didn't start from scratch.

Exactly!
Momentum isn't the fly in the ointment; Watts is the fly in the ointment.
No. Obviously, UAB hasn't even shifted into second gear, yet. Just wait until you see the updated figures of pledges....
I think there were some missed opportunities, but I think we've gained more momentum as time passed actually.

I was skeptical that we could continue to bring the heat, but I think the pledges are shocking a lot of people.

It isn't even about Football as much as it is a giant finger in the direction of Watts, the governor, and especially the BoT and PBJ for their continued lies, corruption, and a "back at ya" for their treatment of UAB.

I hope you're in the know. I'm excited to hear the new numbers!
UAB can start back just as soon as it can get the money lined up that is needed to pay the way. When funding is found to build what we lacked the first time around, we can have as good a program as any found at the FBS midmajor level very quickly.

The trick will be to shake off the artificial limitations imposed over the years by those who desired that UAB fail - and fail badly - and were in a power position to make that failure certain. At this point in time, those forces still have their hands on the system reigns and the state's blessing to use their power without accountability.
