We'll see if he gets the Justin Knox treatment.
Is Tarrant a good perimeter defender ?

If not, we need a juco bruiser/enforcer in a much worse way.
Not sure if Tarrant requested this or was recommended to do this.
He was probably their best offensive player without a doubt.
Only had 1 year left though.
Has he graduated yet, I wonder?

Tarrant is a good every thing. Don't expect him to come to UAB. Mike Davis snubbed him big time in high school. I talked to his dad the other day and he said Mike and his staff wouldn't even come to see him play in high school. He will have many big suitors.
Mike Davis isn't coaching here anymore.

Doesn't mean that he still would or would not come though.

True. I shouldn't underestimate Haase's ability to bring in players. The hardship rule is gone so he'll have to sit unless he has graduated.
I also believe that UAB couldn't get him in based off of more than strict grade requirements.

Not sure if that will factor into anything.

Also not sure how the Happy Supportive BOT & Happy Supportive Watts will handle it if Tarrant wants to transfer here.
In the few times I watched Ricky this year I liked his scoring a lot but I wasn't a fan of his effort or defense.
& once again I think we could use some more 4's and/or a 5.

No idea if he would have to sit out a year again.
Do we really want someone who, based on history, will play one year and then transfer somewhere else. One year at Tulane, one year at Alabama. I can understand one time, but two times, I start wondering about the ability of the player to commit to something.

I hope we look elsewhere.
Supposedly his friend is Orlando Coleman and he tweeted something about them playing together next year. Coleman is at Kennesaw State.
The same guy ended up tweeting that he would be leaving KSU to go wherever Ricky went. Word is Ricky will graduate in May and be immediately eligible. We need a scorer, but I'm not sure I want him with what I saw in his bad body language and now after seeing his apparent hot feet to transfer every single year. It's not like we would ever be able to get him considering his former home.
I thought he played 2 years at Tulane.
His dad is a Bham police officer, FWIW. Maybe he'll want to stay close to family...
I think he missed a lot of games last year due to injury and never really fit into Grant's "offense."
Lol both Coleman and Tarrant are transferring and available immediately.

I'm with MB on this one. I hope UAB stays away from Tarrant.

Rumor is that both players are going to Texas Southern...

I haven't seen where Coleman is leaving...
Not Coleman from UA, but Coleman from Kennesaw State.

I misread that too.
