What does that make us?
I'd say fit 1 out of the 3 in the title....whooo dodge that bullet. LoL
Welp. That's me. At least I don't poison trees.
Oops I need to change my avatar!
LOL, I can honestly say that in THE STATE of Alabam most college teams fit 2 out of the three in the title.
UAB is no different than other schools. I like to think, our fans just have a more realistic outlook on a college sport than some fans of another school I won't call out.

We are like a dragon in the movies or books.
"Just leave me alone and let me be. Disturb me or my treasure and face my wrath!!"
You screwed with our treasured Blazers...NOW FACE OUR WRATH!!!"
That describes me just fine. What of it?

Just leave UAB alone and we won't have any problems.
An additional fact is that wealthy males (who are most often white because of past practices) are drawn to the big flashy programs where they can be "big fish in a big pond". As I recall, one of Bama's most well known boosters awhile back was Logan Young who found it much more gratifying to be a Bama fan than a Vandy fan where he went to college.

I don't recall that Harvey Updike ever went to any college, but attached himself to Bama because of his needs to "be somebody".
It explains the BOTD board...lol
When "you're" (meaning a bunch of 19-20 year old guys you don't know) #1 in football, it's okay to be bottom 5 in every real quality of life metric.

That's an easy view of the uneducated.

There are serious issues with anyone that obtains their sense of self worth from the on the field performance of 20 year old kids in a football game.
Or 20 year old kids on the basketball court.
I'm honestly not shocked by this at all.

It is a common phenomenon in all entertainment genre from "pop singers", Kardashians, to sports stars. Look at the behavior of those recently arraigned for crimes in the name of fictional characters. At least football teams actually exist.
