Whitmire:
…It was obvious that they had already made up their minds in September and on advice of consultants decided to do it in December
…The consultants told them that if they did it in September, they would risk losing players and risk penalties for forfeits.
…The players sacrificed their health for UAB. Would they have done that if they knew the team was dead at the end of season?
…The players never knew what they were fighting against going into that season.
...All Ray Watts had to do from the start was say,"Gentlemen I hate you're in this position but I'm gonna own that and listen to …
…your reaction for an hour, two hours, or however long it takes. Then we'll find out what to do with you after this is over."
…Watts told Mayor Bell that no decision had been made as well as faculty and public in general when he knew the decision was made.
…We've been trying to talk to the BOT b/c there was a document in their that had talking points for them about the loss of football
…Dr. Witt needs to get some boots on the ground and come take a look at the Watts situation.
…The Faculty Senate, Under and Post graduate SGA, and National Alumni Society all have called for Watts' head.
…We put in FOIA requests for all the correspondence between UAB and Carr. The person we requested these documents from is named
…Their refusal to give us these documents after our FOIA request is breaking the law.
…We may need to see the State AG or a local AD look into the situation at UAB to see if they broke the law.

"…We may need to see the State AG or a local AD look into the situation at UAB to see if they broke the law."

This should be the thing they fear more than anything. Could lead to real discovery
Wake me up, if and when Luther Strange touches this.
The local DA maybe able to get involved and that would force the state's hand.

I want to see people under subpoena dragged in to testify. They need to talk knowing that they face perjury charges if what they say is later proven to be false.

I want this very badly indeed.

I think you should just go ahead and change your screen name to "Rip Van Winkle" now and save time.

LOL! Unfortunately, that is probably the case.
Surely there is a prosecutor that would be willing to give this a fair shake.
