Jack Williams will have a press conference at Iron City @ 10am. Watch for on-line stories by Kevin Scarbinsky & Jon Solomon before then.

I am told this information will be very important.
COGS
Is it the announcement that he has filed his bills?
no. that would not be big news.

Behave MB!!!
I'm assuming this is the "UAB decided before the season to kill football" story?

If so, what could Williams be doing at a press conference related to it?
Waving Green & Gold Flags screaming Free UAB.
Scarbinsky article: ow.ly/3xxo7J

Pretty big in terms of giving hard evidence of what we all knew already. I'm guessing that Williams will use this as a platform to call for reform and rally support for his bills.

That would be a horrible thing to do and would ensure that no media showed up to his next one.

Every time there is "EXCITING NEWS" it ends up fizzling out. If he's just holding a press conference to re-read the newspaper stories then it's going to fizzle out, too.

That was last Thursday.

This is a smoking gun.
Hope he is announcing some federal investigation, because that's the level of corruption and fraud we're looking at here.

That would be big news indeed.

Not sure, but it seems to me there could be possible state ethics charges that could stem from willful deception of employees.
I would say you could also throw in a misuse of public funds charge.

How much was this Sard Verbinnen making? Who was paying? Why was Carr receiving money for a decision which was already reached?
It seems to me that the PR firm was hired to determine how to best end football even before Carr was really involved. Meaning Carr was only hired to add "credibiity" to the "decision"...EPIC FAIL.

Which again raises the possibility of legal charges related to ethics, misuse of public funds, fraud, etc.
Al.com needs to dig up the invoices paid to Sard.
So for those of us not at Iron City - what's the news? Please post when announced.
BTW - it looks like the clock on the server is 6-7 minutes fast.
