Well they thought they had a cakewalk today. Sucks for them!
Boo hoo.
"We beat better teams than UAB."

Well not today *******.
A bunch of people are acting like UAB played out of their minds, when we really didn't. We played a great defensive game, shot horribly, and still won. That should make them even more upset.

Based on what I saw today...UAB beat better teams than ISU, too.

That's a good point. We played a lot better last week. Hopefully we play a lot better on Saturday.
I really don't understand the sour grapes. La. Tech has to schedule better. They should be shooting for an at large bid and not putting everything on a tournament. 2 top 100 wins doesn't cut it.
How great was Watts taking over most of Norton's minutes since Norton was having a rough game:

6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assist, 3 steals, 1 turnover

Very good stats for 29 minutes against ISU. He's actually starting to get pretty decent at driving the basket too. A few months ago you would never see Watts really attempt to drive. I feel like he's been playing a lot less timid for the past 4-8 weeks.
Why is it that CUSA before the tourney the only one mentioned was ODU for an at large other than our champ??? ODU planned well but early exit hurt them. LaT needs to do what ODU did & not put eggs in 1 basket lest you lay a rotten one

I think he is the better option at this point in the season. He was awesome for us in the tournament too.
Watts was huge today against Morris. There is nothing like going against a long time rival to bring out your best game.
I've liked the lineup with Norton and Watts in. Good to finally have an option at pg. Been awhile since we've had more than one
We didn't play particularly well to be honest. Norton didn't have a good game. We didn't get as much point production from Baxter or Cokely as we sometimes do.

We did well crashing the boards but from a shooting perspective this was far from our best outing.
Heard Norton was sick.

Yep, in the post game on the radio they said he had been "under the weather" for the last two days.
Norton air balled 2 3's. He's sick.
They collectively didn't play well when the expectations were soaring so it's only natural that it's going to be remembered as a painful, embarrassing loss, but I wouldn't call them sore losers. If that was the case, then there are some La Tech fans out there that need more help than the folks that wanted ISU to win.

I mean, there are still some La Tech fans out there still telling anyone that'd listen that, despite losing to UAB twice, that they'd not only a better team but that they'd outperform the guys in the tournament if they were in it instead.
