Ray Watts after game. As you see he was in no mood to talk football.
Stock answers.

This post-game is AMAZING. Stammering and dodging - incapable of thinking on his feet. He's toast w/o talking points

Watts really doesn't have a clue. The more he talks, the more he helps us.
Uh, just moving forward, process, information, uh, go on and on and, uh go to the as far as we can go.
Karle is going to find his Alabama press passes revoked.

All they have to do is threaten that and he, like many other sports talking head in the area, will shut their mouths.

For this story to break wide open, we will have to have a regional or national reporter to do the snooping and bean spilling. The further the Blazers go in the NCAA and the fans and students keep chanting #FreeUaB and #FireRayWatts, the better the chance someone will pick up the story.
What a toad.
I thought he wasn't at the basketball games because he didn't want to distract the team and fans? Why is he at the NCAA tournament? To distract them into losing?

It's kind of funny that he is catching so much crap for being there. Had he not shown up, he would have caught crap for not going.

This is what happens in a no-win situation. And this is exactly where Watts finds himself. All of his own doing.
He really needs to get a refund on his PR firm. Instead of going into the locker room to celebrate, he stood outside and held a news conference. While claiming to want to take the focus off of him. He let every single player walk out of that room without shaking their hands because he was too busy talking to the cameras.

I don't think it would be such an issue if he had shown up during the CUSA tournament. Now that it's not in Birmingham he expects the tone and questions to be different (boy was that a miscalculation)
I'm glad he didn't go into the locker room. We might not have had a basketball team when he came out.

Or a president....on second thought....
