No kidding. We led most of that game until the bitter end, then it was the Blake Griffin show. Uhhhh!

14 is very likely. Keep an eye on Georgia St. game today. We can move in to the 13 seed if they lose.

I'd be happy with a 13 or 14. Anything less and we're taking a screw job.

Here's a list of autobid teams with an RPI below ours (currently 139)
North Florida (162)
Manhattan (168)
Robert Morris (171)
Hampton (251)
...not that many. It may be where we move up a line by virtue of our turnaround of late.
I still think we'll be a 14, but don't be shocked or cry foul if we get stuck with a 15.

if that bracket ends up being right, I wouldn't mind a Wisc rematch

UAB does not match up well with Wisconsin.

Palm's move of UAB within the bracket to face Wisconsin violates one of the primary bracketing tenets used by the committee, which is to avoid regular season rematches in the opening rounds if at all possible.
If and its a big if UAB were a 16 seed it would be easy to swap brackets to avoid this.

which 10 teams are a no brainer to put below us?

Here ya go...measure us up against the other teams highlighted in gold.

I'm still going with 14, but won't be shocked to get a 15. The Sagarin ratings (which the Committee also take into consideration) list 8 teams below us in the field. The problem we're dealing with is a lot of 1-bid leagues going to high rated teams (Buffalo, SFA, Wofford, Valpo, Harvard, Georgia State).

right...im thinking 14, but to say that a 15 is a screw job (I'm not saying you said it) doesn't make sense

imagine where we'd be sitting if we didn't have those 5 losses to 200+

8 or 9. Especially if we would have beaten LSU and Illinois St.

There's no reason to think of what could've been. What may be on the other hand...

The SWAC team always gets a 16 seed. Even though Davis has a higher RPI than us, I suspect he will be a 16 seed.
