I thought someone posted that James Henry left the team. ????
James Henry is gone. he is at Illinois state. The ISU web site confirms his arrival as a recent "transfer in".
I found an ISU university sports website article clearly announcing Henry's anticipated transfer dated January 24, 2015. His name was included with three other transfers. The final announcement on signing day only lists the other three guys but not Henry. He may have changed his mind and is possibly still with UT. That would be good news.

Go Rockets!

Go Rockets!

Can't teach size.
Lets take a quick look at the OL candidates for 2015:

returning players, projected positions, and 2015 class:

Nkansah C/G RS so.
Norton LT RS Jr
Jeppesen C/G RS fr??? (already was a RS fr in 2014 but broke leg early in season so may hv gotten med RS)
Webber G RS fr
Perchinske G sr. recuited primarily for DL
Kassem G/C Jr. JC transfer
Carter G sr. post grad transfer from FSU
Perschon G/T jr
Henry ???? T RS jr? (broke foot last fall--- if still at UT he may still be considered a RS Soph if he got a med RS)
Ebert G/T jr started out at TE
Pfeiffer G/T RS fr

Incoming freshmen:

Cotterman G
Bell T
Fair G/T
Heidecker T
Miles G
Harris G/C

Despite lack of true PT experience there is still quality depth on the line and perhaps even more than we have ever had at UT. The returning O lineman present almost a complete 2 deep before we even consider top freshman like Bell, Fair, and Cotterman
Regarding Jeppeson, he can only get two redshirt years if he was injured both years, not just one. Was the initial redshirt year for injury or just for seasoning? If the latter, then he will be a sophomore.
As far as the coaching goes, from past performance I think we will be fine. Although we had an experienced OL , what made them stay and play? Also experience is the best teacher, but I have seen some pretty poor 4 year starters.

He's also not listed on ISU's 2015 roster, but their other 3 transfers are.
