First one is good and the second is good. UT down 9.

Juice scores and UT takes its last timeout with 49 seconds left
Foul on Weatherspoon sends the Chips to the line

First one is good. Second one is good.

No chance now. May as well stop fouling. Down 10

Jon Jon gets a putback and it's an 8 point game

Drummond called for a foul and the Chips are back at the line
Free throws are good and it's 81-71

Weatherspoon scores and it's 81-73. Chips call time for some reason. 27 seconds left
Chips turn it over.
Rockets turn it over.
Rockets foul with 17 seconds left but it's pointless. And hopeless.

Free throws are good and the Chips lead by 10. May as well be 50

Somebody scores for UT.
Hall called for a foul with 4 seconds left.
Free throws are good and the Chips lead by 10 again.
Rockets lose 85-77 after Mosley scores
Oh
Well, I'm going to have to give it to all the Rocket fans who end up making the trip to Cleveland just to see them fail to reach the Big Dance for a 35th consecutive year. That was some bad, bad basketball played down the stretch for Toledo. No way in hell championship caliber play, but I think we all already knew that. Very frustrating, to say the least.
This is why you are supposed to win home games. Tough to win on road. CMU h a s only one loss at home. That is how you win championships

You also need to be able to play defense.
Well, that was disappointing.

Que Coach K: "We can still win a MAC championship and get to the NCAA Tournament...we still control our destiny".

If we win at Eastern, do we still have a shot at the #2 seed? The way we've been playing lately, I'd be worried that we can put together more than 2 wins in Cleveland.

We sure as hell don't control our own destiny for 2 seed

We need to win Friday
Akron needs to beat kent.
Cmu needs to beat wmu.

Toledo would win tiebreaker over whoever wins buffalo bg.

This is assuming kent holds on at bg.

If bg beats kent then toledo needs to win
Buffalo needs to beat bg
Cmu needs to beat wmu

It's all a moot point though. This team can't get it done when the money's on the line. If you can't play d, you can't win championships.

I look forward to cheering on the Rockets in Cleveland!

I plan on being there. Definitely want to be around when we finally win a MAC Championship and earn a NCAA bid. Go Rockets!!!!!

Y'know, last season I looked forward to cheering them on in Cleveland...I really thought we'd beat Western. Heading into this season, I looked forward to cheering them on in Cleveland, thinking that sure, we lost Pearson but everyone coming back will be better and focused...and then I watched us lose 5 games at home, and another unforgivable loss at Oakland, and...well, I'm just not that excited. And honestly, I don't think most of that team is, either. The way theyve played at home tells me that don't care about fan support. So maybe you'll be one of the few UT fans actually there who will be making the rest of us eat our words if they pull it out--and believe me, I'd be really happy to eat my words! But, given how this team has played most of this season, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they lost at Eastern, in which case I don't think you'll have much company in Cleveland.

I plan on being in Cleveland as well, however, I not particularly optimistic as at best there will be 4 teams with about an equal chance of winning (and that doesn't make for great odds) and I still remember the long drive home after the WMU loss last year.

Interested now to see if the women can get a bye.
