Agree---the top seeding was definitely lost at Savage (on 4 different occasions), not at Kent or Mt. Pleasant.
Doesn't it seem like some under-the-radar guy plays like a MAC POY against us every game? Simons is good but Fowler and his running mate are who you expect to come up big. The guy from BSU wasn't even averaging double figures. NIU had the huge guy (not Threloff The Big Guy) who had a very nice outing as well.

When you constantly leave a great 3 point shooter wide open (and this dude was beyond wide open -- I don't think a single make of his was contested), you're going to get burned. No discipline at all on defense -- can't remember the last time a toledo team was tough on d though.
Bucknell at home. We played sufficating defense, and recovered after help. Won by 30.

It's a shame we have to go back like 20 games to find one instance.

We actually did OK against CMU at home, IIRC. They were way below their average and Fowler didn't do much damage. BG wasn't bad- Boothe stuffed their big guy so often he was reduced to playing on the perimeter where he hit a couple Js that no one could have anticipated. But, yeah, normally we're bad.
Bulls fan did a seed chart. UT is Top 4 in 14-16 possible scenarios. We lose and BG and Akron win.
Nobody has mentioned it but Juice was 7 for 19 in field goals. Its tough to win against good competition when your best player is not at the top of his game.

When your best player is your point guard and he takes 19 shots w no assists, there's a problem.

Yep -- this team is at their best when boothe is involved early. When the offense runs through him from the get go he is rock solid the entire night, and other guys benefit as well. The other night he didn't even get touches on most first half possessions. The early lead was almost fools gold as it was on a lot of made jumpers instead of aggressive play.
