#9 Marion Local (Luke Knapke, C) 17-4 will play the winner of the Ridgeway Ridgemont vs. Waynesfield-Goshen game on Friday, March 6th, 6:15 pm at Coldwater H.S. in the Division IV Sectionals.
Marion Local won 87-36 to advance.
Marion Local will play New Bremen on Tuesday, March 10th at Wapakoneta High School.

Marion Local defeated New Bremen 54-51 in the District Semifinals.

Marion Local (#1 seed in districts) will now play #2 Seed Spencerville on Friday in the District Finals at Wapak H.S.
for those excited about Luke Knapke this guy will probably need a redshirt and then a year or two before he contributes. He has some skill, but little strength even for the high school game. Can be a skilled 4 maybe by junior year. Adway, White and Jalean are the ones who could contribute right away with With Adway and Sanford the most probably. As far as Marion Local Wish them all the luck.

I agree. In fact, a redshirt and time in the weight/training program would likely do him wonders for his remaining years here. I also agree, from what I saw, that he plays more comfortably as a "4" or a Boothe-type high-post player. That's why I'd love to see us sign a true low-post presence yet.
Marion Local beat Spencerville 65-54 in District Finals at Wapakoneta.

Marion Local now plays Jackson Center in the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, March 17th, at 8:00 pm at Kettering Fairmont High School.
Marion Local defeated Jackson Center 47-36 in the Regional Semifinals Tuesday night. Luke Knapke had 17 points and 12 rebounds.

#9 Marion Local (21-4) will now play #1 New Madison Tri-Village (27-0) in the Regional Finals on Friday, March 20th at 7:00 pm. at Kettering Fairmont High School. The winner advances to Columbus to play in the Division IV State Semifinals.
