Minus 17 degrees in T-Town right now... record all time low for any previous day in February...
Thought it seemed brisk when I walked the dog. Coldest I ever saw was -25 in Ontario. This is too close for comfort.
Pretty sure this is the coldest I've ever been in. Went on the porch just to see what it felt like and decided it wasn't an experience that needed to last.
I think maybe one time, now that I think about it. YEARS ago, a buddy and I went x-country skiing over the holidays in Yellowstone. Same bluish haze up from the water. Same feeling that sound itself was frozen. Same great desire to find a fireplace and a bottle of something warm and nearly lethal.
Got down to 35 last night in Tampa...high will reach mid 50's today...back in the 70's Saturday.
Just announced that the official low in Toledo this morning was -19 degrees.
I live in the snowbelt east of Cleveland. This morning when I took out the dog I checked the thermometer outside the garage - 22 below. Too damn cold for me!

Charlotte his a record low yesterday and today. The high temps this week have been lower than the average low temp for the month of February.

All that said, 7 degrees is sauna compared to -17. That's brutal.
-15 In Hillsdale when I left for work. Right now it's 5. Funny thing it's 21 in Anchorage Alaska.
It hit 39 this morning here Boynton Beach. Currently 64 outside in Boca Raton.

FYI, my first winter in Toledo in 93/94 there was one day where the ambient temperature was -22, the wind chill neared -50. That was not fun.
Luckily, I have been in Fla. this week. Tennessee has had snow and an ice storm. Temps near zero. Glad I wasn't their.

My car thermometer got to -20 up here for about 5 minutes then went back "up" to -17.

Last year we had 3 days in a row where it reached -17, but that was in January. We are only a week away from March. This is nuts.

Supposed to get to 31 tomorrow, then dropping back down for some more below 0 weather next week at night. Highs are only going to be in the low to mid teens - but at least it will be on the positive side of zero.
If you're not used to it, 35 can be as miserable as our negative temps especially if you don't have the clothing for it. Stay warm everyone!
At least it's a "dry" cold......

Hear what your saying but it's really hard to feel sorry for anyone dealing with a temp 45 degrees warmer than mine. 03-phew My prayer tonight is for 35 degree weather. LOL.
