Unbelievable.
I believe it. They are starting to feel the burn of our anger.
That's UA system money well spent [sarcasm off].
WTF WAS THAT!
As long as I've been at UAB, I Never seen them advertise all three schools as a system. They must truly be fearful of losing this fight.
Coordinated offensive by the BOT was expected. First St. John speaks and then the commercial. Time to crank up the noise.
Notice at the end that Bama gets their little rip off red Atlanta Braves A, and UAB and UAH get their bland, generic, vanilla-ass logos
Wow, they really are getting worried. If anyone asks " are we making any progress?", point to this. The BoT has spent too much time ignoring us; now it is catching up with them. Turn up the heat!
Ladies and Gents, I believe we've got their attention! Friday will be interesting. We need to turn out in mass!
I wonder how much those commercials cost?
What the hell is this? Are we living in North Korea with all this political propaganda?
Well if anyone was wondering if they were feeling the heat, that question has been answered. We are making a difference.

Unbelievable.

They should get their money back from whatever hack PR firm made that.
Yep. Might as well had a 2 second commercial that said **** Athletics.
Hahaha! What?

Billions in growth, yet only $100 million in new student facilities in the last 15 years. I'd love to see the same figures over the last 15 years in Tuscaloosa.
Wow they are really worried and feeling the heat. This is an act of desperation for them. I hear rumblings that they are worried about Jacks Bills and I expect aggressive lobbying against them including the one to bring back football. My deal is if you are honest and above board you have NO REASON to be against these bills. If you are dishonest then you do.

That's my take.

As flawed as our political system and elections are. No amount of money is going to beat hundreds of pissed off constituents writing letters to their Representatives.

With that said if you haven't written your Representatives you should now or in the near future. Tell them to support Jack Williams.
Shea Shelnutt will be in Hayden next week for a town hall meeting.

This is prior to the city council meeting & the resolution to support UAB.

Make it if you can to both.

Yep! Keep up the heat!!!
I'm ticked because it's wasted taxpayer money doing a commercial like that. Who are they trying to convince? Why are they trying to convince anyone? The fact that they feel that they need to do this in fact shows that there is a clear problem with system governance.

Commercial serves another purpose. It allows the PR company the opportunity to hide some of their Montgomery lobbying expenses in video production. They're fooling no one.

Wonder how many tens of thousands the PR firm has racked up to this point in time? It'll be a million+ before they're through. Costs money to buy influence in Monkey Town.
We should run a follow up of the same commercial with different numbers: Compare all the *100s* of MILLIONS spent on UAT campus vs UAB campus.
Now, that would make a point...
