Doesn't look good...

Oh my Gosh, hope he recovers. Didn't even realize he was 70 years old.

A bunch of little prayers won't hurt.
God bless the citizen who revived him at the scene. It may have saved his life.
Based on the fact that the dr reading the statement at the news conference could barely hold it together, I'm guessing the prognosis is not good.
That's a shame. Being in his car alone like he was you have to hope that he didn't have a major loss of oxygen to his brain.

I just saw him at the GoDaddy bowl when he spoke to all the alumni before the game. I didn't even know he was a UT graduate until he gave that speech. I hope he will be ok.

After checking out at the Marriott I was standing in the lobby chatting with another fan and some guy walked up and stuck his hand out and said "Hello." I just shook hands and then realized who it was and said, "Hi Mayor Collins," and he just grinned and said, "Mike." So, I guess we're on a first name basis, LOL. I hope Mike shows some improvement. What an awful thing to happen.
any update on his health?

After cooling down his body, they are now starting to warm him to a normal temperature. This will allow them to determine the extent of any heart or brain damage. Not a good situation.
A media report I heard on TV tonight stated that there are a number of things they can do from a cardiology standpoint. The biggest concern is oxygen deprivation to the brain and, there, the options are few. There is a limited amount of time to get the heart restarted before there is damage to the brain, and it sounds like the circumstances of the incident were less than optimal. I missed the 11:00 news tonight, but the lack of anything new on the media websites is discouraging.
