Mom power.
This is a great article! It demonstrate's that Boothe's value to the team is not always show in the box score. He is an excellent passer and has an excellent assist to turnover ratio (46 assists to 23 turnovers). That is a 2-1 ratio, which is unheard of for centers in any league. He creates open shots and scoring opportunities for his teammates. The other primary big men in the MAC have many more turnovers than assists. We are very lucky to have Boothe on our team.
He does need to want the ball more tho. Yell, scream, kick, whatever you need to do. Beg when you're open... Hes good enough to destroy bigs in the MAC. NEED and shall RECEIVE!
It was nice to see him get some blocks and not get called, and not even foul out.

He was REALLY REALLY REALLY screwed over in the BGSUCKS game called for several calls that were really bad. So was Weatherspoon. Last season at Detroit I got to sit near his parents they are very nice people. I would say our best Center since Casey Shaw and the best passing center since 1980 for sure.
He shut down BG's big guy (listed at 6'8" but appearing at least as tall as Boothe) and blocked his shot a few times, forcing him outside, not only on defense but on offense.
