Softball needs money from the football budget to be competitive in Conference USA.

On the topic at hand though, I'm very excited for these women. I know the coaching staff and players will work to make this prediction a reality.

Hope they do well. We graduated possibly the two best pitchers in UAB softball history. Streetman will be around to help coach the pitchers, but the ones we have are very inexperienced. If pitching holds up, it will be a very successful year.
