Congrats to them - Justin Fuente has done an amazing job there.
And to think UAB owned them in football all those years... and here they are, nationally ranked, conference champions with a bowl victory.

This is what happens when you have a SUPPORTIVE governing body instead of group of turdstains like we have over UAB & UAH...I'm happy for them in Memphis, enjoyed and miss that rivalry we had with them. When we get our team back and Coach Clark gets them back to the level they were before those ******** did what they did (you'll never convince that this boob Watts did this all on his own - lone gunman my ***!), maybe we can give Memphis a call...I'm prepared to buy 2 sets of season tickets once our team is fully restored.
It's ironic that Memphis football is receiving all these kudos during basketball season and the fans are ready to run Pastner out on a rail. Yesterday during the early part of football season, you couldn't get any coverage of football because all the fans could talk about was how greT basketball was going to be.
Tigers basketball is 9-6 with losses to Stephen f Austin and Tulane at home and an exhibition loss to CBU, a D2 team. Pastner is a despised man right now in Memphis.
