DETROIT — A Detroit-area man has pleaded guilty to paying players to fix basketball and football games at the University of Toledo nearly a decade ago.

Finally ending...what a joke that this took so long.
If you're going to plead damn guilty, why wait 10 years? Some one needs to kick that fool in the head.

Probably only headline story we will see on UT athletics this week... The blah usually times this type of fish wrap paper before a big Rocket event (bowl game, or the MAC tournament)...

Hey, it's news as nd current. What amazes me is Cuomo and Curry. Was there ever a possibility these two could impact a game? Seriously screwed up bunch of folks.
I don't think Cuomo was doing anything other than providing injury information, players getting benched for disciplinary reasons, etc. Enough information to know what to bet on the spread to improve odds. Nobody was trying to lose games, only trying to win by less than the spread (primarily because that is a lot easier to control by players in key positions) basketball is much easier to shave points.
