BGSU students pay $410.85 of their general fee every semester for athletics. On top of that they also pay a $60/semester "Special Facility Fee" for the Stroh Center. Assuming 4yrs of college, that's better than $3600 paid by every student for BGSU athletics.

Wow.

How long till students vote not to pay this money?
Wow. Students should not be obligated to fund athletic programs and other "student-athletes".

And I'd be pissed if I was paying even more in student fees just so the student-athletes could get the "full cost of attendance".
Don't those fees also usually go toward rec center and stuff?

Then alumni need to ante up or maybe it will be "money for nothin' and chicks for free"
They along with the rest of the MAc can start drawing PAID attendance of more than a couple thousand
This will further divide the Power 5 from the G5 and below by the way. Not a good rule if you want to compete at the national level and don't have huge conference TV contracts and Bowl funds coming in. Let alone gate receipts that can pay more than the utilities.
