+1
I just have a feeling it is going to be financially focused and nothing about the process that took place to eliminate football.

it's on at 1030am about 130 after gameday came on (9 est)
Hated that last line about the coaches convention at the Birmingham airport. I remember that when we got the death penalty and it was heart breaking
Pretty well done story. I liked the Baylor fans chanting "UAB".
Good report. Didn't go after PBJ, but pretty much denounced the money issue.

Bless Baylor fans. Chanting UAB at the end of the story and camera showed a #freeuab sign.
wow a good segment and Corso surprisingly said someone is working behind the scenes and it'll come out. Keep fighting guys . UAB was being chanted by fans (hope Baylor gets in and wins it all)
Lee Corso seems to know what's going on. Will anyone ever investigate the BOT?
Doesn't mention the BOT, but the commentators do mention southern politics that will come out eventually.

Focus on the emotional reaction from students, as well as the lack of input and requests for help. Mentions of the 5 million promise that was turned down. Does break down watts argument. Focuses on watts as the bad guy.

A number of good UAB highlights.

The crowd chants UAB.

I think it'll do well for getting us a bowl game.
It was actually pretty good, in my opinion.

A major point is Dr. Watts saying that he would have done it differently if he could do it over, and that he unsuccessfully tried to rally donors. It was a clear lie as pointed out by a donor that said upfront that he tried to donate, and was turned down. The players said they are still invested and are hoping for a bowl game to have one more shot to show what UAB football is and hopefully turn this around. The guys pretty much agreed that the shutdown was politically generated and there was something behind the scenes. The fans there in Waco also chanted UAB and there was a #FreeUAB sign held up.
Very pro UAB segment. Had a big dollar donor on and he stated that he was never contacted. This was right after Watts stated that UAB didn't have firm committed donations. Watts said you Can't run a program on promises.
So they actually interviewed watts? Pretty sad when you will talk to game day but not your faculty, a.d., supporters, or students

Who was the donor?? A friend told me that he and Justin had been interviewed earlier this week, and I think he said it was ESPN.
