And it begins
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if all left the entire state behind
I'm sure Howard could go anywhere he wants. What about the guys who can't? This sucks for the majority who have no other real options. Sucks for us all.
Hard for me to watch.
This is too heartbreaking. I can't support UAB anymore. This isn't the school I attended.

Totally agree! It is not the school it used to be.

.........not another dime!!!!!!!!!!! Ever!!!!!
As with any competitive situation, those with the least to offer (in experience, future PT and / or talent) will have the hardest time moving on. I imagine Nelson will turn pro this spring. Since the school's administration ended the program, do any of them have any expectation of their scholarships being honored toward graduation? Or will they just be dropped as "collateral damage"?

I agree. My heart is loosed.
Loost.
Can't blame them. I hope they make the best of it. They deserve it after what they've gone through.
Thank goodness that we have Mackin to help the players and coaches through the transition.

Yeah that's a comforting thought. I think Izell's company is handling some of this. At least they'll treat them well and Izell will make sure
Unfortunately, it is the school I attended. One that didn't have a football team.
It's the circle of life.

You never fail to remind us. 07-coffee3
I hope those guys land at a better school than Indiana... Indiana is horrible at football...

Actually I failed several times to mention it. You really should get over me. I'm sorry I'm not your type.
