This is a student/alumni lead initiative, just doing my part to spread the word.
The rally will be at 7pm on the Green at UAB. Please make sure to let everyone you know to come out and show support. Some media have already confirmed they will be there. Get your Blazer gear and signs.
Let's show solidarity with our coaches and players...and that includes ALL our sports.
Well, this is doomed with notice so late today. Why in the world do folks try to set stuff up like this when the vast majority of our supporters would never even find out about it until the 'small crowd' videos show up on the evening news.
This is why we need to let things flow through the football foundation. hell everyone k nnows we need to try and show up. .

I'm postponing a live radio broadcast to attend...I just found out about this rally less than half an hour ago...I'm going...Those who can, should go, too...DVR the damn "Walking Dead", our team needs us! ;-)
I would suggest canceling it and lets come up with a time when we can get more than 40 people there. It will look bad and give them more ammo.
If not then move it to Bartow where it will look bigger.
This! The last thing we need is a pitiful few in front of the TV cameras.
I'll be there, but this is a dumb move, and if nothing else we need to start putting together a bigger one for tomorrow night.
Or lets see who shows up from campus? If all the student athletes showed up with one friend a piece it would look good. Plenty of time for multiple rallys this week

This happened organically on Twitter this afternoon. I don't think it's possible to cancel it since no one is in charge of it.
I've noticed a lot of local media people retweeting. So go if you can!!

How many "on campus" can one expect on a holiday weekend night? I suspect many will just be getting back for Monday classes and have not heard about it unless social media gets through to them.
