Really hoping Vegas is correct. I want this to be a 13-game season. That would really make a statement.

Southern Miss has beaten a SWAC team, a Sun Belt team, and North Texas. I hope we beat them by more than 4...

I just hope we beat them. Taking "inferior" opponents for granted has been a long and glorious tradition at UAB. Hopefully the emotional drain from the game against Marshall won't lead to a let-down against USM.

Me too. I am truly worried about that letdown. And if anything happens with Clark before then... I think the line is about right, and I hope we come ready to play.

During a season with a new staff and many new players, a lot of games are used just to determine what works and what doesn't work. Maybe we have those answers in time for our final regular season game and will put it all together for a convincing win. Win and UAB is bowl eligible for the first time in many years.

I'm worried about a bit of a letdown. Hopefully the coaches and players show up and earn bowl eligibility. Our chances of bowling with 6 wins are not great. We could really use losses from most of the other 5 win teams this week.

USM had 16 days to prepare for UAB..........pretty long lay of.

I don't see the Marshall game as a letdown. Sure, they could have won the game, but losing to a ranked, undefeated team by 5 isn't reason to throw the season away.

That line is money. Blazers cover easily. Look for it to increase over the week.

Trap line. I can see USM selling out and us having to win with a FG last play.

I have confidence in our team to take out some pent up rage this weekend. It's USM, for bowl eligibility, and many on the team want revenge for last year.

I like our chances. Giv'em hell boys!

Vegas knows more about our teams than we do. That line is begging for you to take UAB. Begging. It's a meaningless game for southern miss, and UAB has to win to get bowl eligible. Maybe we come out and do exactly what you predict, but that line spells disaster to me.

Huh? They are just trying to get 50/50 betting........the line will adjust accordingly!

Yeah, yeah. Vegas is always trying to get that line 50/50. Vegas doesn't get even money on both sides of every game and you know it. They set lines to entice people to bet on one side sometimes. I've heard froma lot of Vegas folks that a sharp betting 5000 can move a line more than a square betting 100,000. I know in an ideal world this is what Vegas would do, but I doubt it happens often.

Blazers have been "road warriors", I don't anticipate a letdown, they know what's at stake, but this is a rivalry, and Southern Miss, even on its' worst of days, can and will be up for this showdown...As a fan, I hope to be able to make it there and bring the same energy and noise we brought to the team for the Marshall game...#OccupyHattiesburg
