I have a simple request. Next year, can the band and the DJ please get their act together so that they aren't playing over each other? Is that too much to ask?
IMO, the DJ is an attention w****, and has no decorum regarding sharing the playing time between himself and the band...I'd much rather hear the latter mentioned at home games. He (dj) almost got the team penalized in the North Texas game for blaring his redundant noise while live play's going on the field. The referee got on his PA and warned him not to do that, and still he's done it...If our team survives this bureaucratic ambush, a more cerebral DJ is needed in Lesion Field's press box for UAB games.
That or he needs a ball bat to the kneecap.

I'd vote for that, too...I hate it when the band is playing something then out of nowhere, he jumps in with that noise and drowns them damn near out.
FYI....the times the band & the DJ are supposed to play is scripted. Often times, the band jumps in when it is not their time because they "feel the urge".

False. As someone that deals with those scripts that is not true. Unless I've been reading them wrong for years.
For once, the DJ hasn't been the worst part of the audio/video portion of the game.

They need to stop with the players singing while wearing noise-cancelling headphones bit. Completely destroys the energy in the stadium.

What a stupid idea. "Hey, let's have our players sing songs when they can't hear their own voices so that they can sound awful and we can laugh at them while they are on the field trying to stay concentrated and pumped for the reason we are here to watch them in the first place."

While you have your bat out, could I borrow it to destroy that Ozzy song the DJ plays on 3rd down? We need something a little less annoying to play on our opponent's 3rd downs, like fingernail dragging across a blackboard.

Agree. I'm sure it seemed like a great idea when they focus grouped it, but it has gone over like a lead balloon. The fans just sit there staring at the video screen in disbelief. Scrap it.
And while we're talking about audio problems, can someone fix the referee's ear-piercing, echoing microphone? Please and thank you.
Dr. Watts is working on a plan to fix all of these problems.
You know what, MB? I hurt too bad right now to listen to any more of your crap. You've been told that it's really a bad time to run your act, and you just don't give a crap. You'll do what you want to do, and three times extra if anyone objects to it, so I'm just going to put you on ignore for a while.

I just can't endure any more of that mess right now. Can't you find a crippled kitten to kick or something?
Taking a bat to a kneecap of a student is OK, but my comment isn't.

Every thread on the board eventually turns to Dr. Watts and the football mess and someone mentioned even earlier in this thread. But when I do it, there is a problem. 03-lmfao

Although it makes me sick because it is true...that was a good one.
Talking about a ball bat is exaggeration for conversational emphasis. There's not a damn soul reading it who thinks that I'll really go after the guy with a Louisville Slugger.

Like I said, it's your schtick, you just can't help doing it. You're not this way in real life. I like you. When you're talking to people you don't act like this message board character of yours. It's just that I'm in pain right now and don't see any humor in it. And, yes, I took you off ignore long enough to read your response, since you did within a couple of minutes. WooHoo, you won at the internet.
